Jan 15

I started the day with a sunrise meditation on the beach outside our ghost town resort room.
The waves crashing in the shore as the sunlight began to filter softly into the sky from beneath the waves of the China sea.

A walk down the beach looking for shells afterwards scored me a cell phone # of a local fisherman's daughter and near miss beach wedding. I still think I may have gotten engaged without even knowing it.

We didn't leave town til after a cafe So Da and it was quickly approaching 10 am.

The ride up rt # 1 was as terrifying as ever!

We got off. Following the coast. Even though it would add hours to our trip was the only thing that seemed to make any sense.

Immediately the tone of the day changed back to the way it began. It wasn't long at all before we were overlooking the sea, it's harbors and the multitudes of fishing vessels cluttering its avenues.
