We left Da Lat city at 9 am heading slightly North and then due East towards Nha Trang on the east coast of south Vietnam.
My cousin ran out of fuel just moments outside of Da Lat and had to walk his bike to the nearest local vendor of petrol.
At 30,000 vmd/ltr we could have done worse.
I walked across the street and ordered a Cafe So Da and filled a fresh French baguette with the famous Da Lat strawberry Jam I bought in the market last night as I waited.
We restarted the bike ride and spent the next 8 hrs of mountain driving while etching a picture of unforgettable nature into my memory.
